Invites online applications for the post of Chargeman (Mechanic) and Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive)
India Navy invites application from eligible candidates to apply Online through the official website of The Indian Navy for the post Chargeman (Mechanic) and Chargeman (Ammunition & Explosive) classified as Group-B, ‘Non-Industrial’, Non-Gazetted in pay level 6 at various posted to various Naval Armament to Inspectorate (NAI) units at Depots / Ordnance Factories / DRDO labs / Quasi Military Establishments to undertake inspection/ QA activities. The functional duties would involve sailing on-board Indian Navy platforms and handling of Explosive and ordance.

Age:
Not exceeding 30 years (Relaxable for Government servant upto five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the central Government).
Educational Qualifications:
(a)Chargeman (Mechanic):
Possessing following educational qualification and experience-
i)Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Production Engineering from a recognised University or Institute
ii)Two years experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of dosign or production or Maintenance of Engineering equipment or system from a recognised organisation.
(b)Chargeman (Ammn & Expl.):
Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised University or Institution with two years experience in quality control or quality assurance or testing or proof in the area of Chemical Engineering or processing from recognised organisation.
Crucial Date:
Candidates (except SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman and woman candidates, who are exemptes from payment of Fee) are required to pay a fee Rs. 205/- (Rupees Two hundred and five only) excluding applicable taxes and charges through online mode using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay/ Credit/ Debit card/ UPI. Admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid their examination fee or who are entitled to waiver of examination fee.
Mode of Selectiion:
(a)Screening of Application: Indian Navy will screen all the application regisrered online, as per eligibility criteria and terms and conditions specified by Government of India from time to time. Merely fulfilling the basis selection criteria does not automatically entitle a person/ applicant to be called for Online test.
(b)Scheme of Written Examination:
All the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the online computer based examination (Discipline wise) consisting of 100 objective type questions based on syllabus as appendedd below-
Date of Examination:
Exact date, time and venue of online test will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates on registered mobile phone or Email ID. The official website of Indian Navy may also be reffered from time to time forn any further instructions.
Documents Verification:
All the documents pertaining to age, education, identity, address, category, caste validity certificate, educational qualification and work experience certificate, venue for documents verification will be intimated to the provisionally selected candidates on their registered mobile number/ E-mail ID and by post.
Opening and Closing date for Online Application:
Online registration of Applications (Opening date)- 16 April, 2019. Last date of registration (Closing date)- 28 April, 2019.
