WBCS 2023 Preliminary Syllabus- প্রতিটি গ্রুপের ক্ষেত্রে প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষা হবে মোট 200 নম্বরের। প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষায় 8 টি বিষয় থেকে 25 নম্বর করে মোট 25 × 8 = 200 নম্বরের পরীক্ষা। সময়সীমা 2 ঘন্টা 30 মিনিট। নেগেটিভ মার্কিং 1/3.

WBCS Main Syllabus 2023

WBCS Main Syllabus- প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ন হওয়া প্রার্থীরাই কেবল মেইন পরীক্ষা দিতে পারবেন। মেইন পরীক্ষায় প্রতিটি গ্রুপে (Group- A, B, C, D) মোট 6 টি কম্পালসারি পেপার পরীক্ষা হবে। Paper- I & Paper- II (Descriptive type), এবং Paper- III, IV, V, VI (MCQ type). প্রতিটি পেপারে ‌200 নম্বর করে মোট 1200 নম্বরের পরীক্ষা। শুধুমাত্র Group- A এবং Group- B পদগুলির ক্ষেত্রে 200 নম্বর করে অতিরিক্ত আরো দুটি অপশনাল পেপার পরীক্ষা হবে। এই দুটি পেপারে যেকোনো একটি বিষয়ের উপর হয়ে থাকে, বিষয়টি আবেদনকারীর নির্বাচনের সুযোগ থাকে।

সুতরাং Group- A ও Group- B পদগুলির ক্ষেত্রে মেইন পরীক্ষার মোট নম্বর (Compulsory Paper 1200 + Optional Paper 400) = 1600, এবং Group- C ও Group- D পদগুলির ক্ষেত্রে মেইন পরীক্ষার মোট নম্বর 1200, Group- C ও Group- D –এর ক্ষেত্রে কোনো অপশনাল পেপার থাকে না।

Paper I: Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali/ Santali- Letter writing (within 150 words)/ Drafting of Report (within 200 words), Précis Writing, Composition and Translation from English to Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali/ Santali.
Paper II: English- Letter writing (within 150 words)/ Drafting of Report (within 200 words), Precis Writing, Composition and Translation from Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali/ Santali to English.
Paper III: General Studies-I : (i) Indian History with special emphasis on National Movement and (ii) Geography of India with special reference to West Bengal.
Paper IV: General Studies-II: Science and Scientific & Technological advancement, Environment, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
Paper V: The Constitution of India and Indian Economy including role and functions of the Reserve Bank of India.
Paper VI: Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning.

WBCS 2023 Interview- Group- A ও Group- B পদের ক্ষেত্রে ইন্টারভিউ হবে 200 নম্বরের। Group- C পদের ক্ষেত্রে ইন্টারভিউ হবে 150 নম্বরের। এবং Group- D পদের ক্ষেত্রে ইন্টারভিউ হবে 100 নম্বরের।

WBCS 2023 Final Merit list- চূড়ান্ত মেধাতালিকা তৈরি হয় মেইন পরীক্ষা ও ইন্টারভিউয়ের নাম্বার করে যুক্ত করে। সুতরাং গ্রুপ-এ এবং গ্রুপ- বি পদগুলির ক্ষেত্রে 1800 নম্বরের ওপর ভিত্তি করে চূড়ান্ত মেধা তালিকা প্রকাশিত হয়। গ্রুপ সি পদের ক্ষেত্রে 1350 নম্বরের উপর ভিত্তি করে চূড়ান্ত মেধা তালিকা প্রকাশিত হয়। গ্রুপ ডি পদগুলির ক্ষেত্রে 1300 নম্বরের উপর ভিত্তি করে চূড়ান্ত মেধা তালিকা প্রকাশিত হয়।
